Yeshivat Frisch’s Mechina Program addresses the needs of students with minimal or no formal Jewish education, but who can read Hebrew. This specially designed section offers students an opportunity for basic skill development in learning Jewish texts, law, language, heritage and history, enabling them to eventually integrate into the regular Torah studies classes after 9th grade. Frisch’s mechina curriculum provides students with the foundational building blocks and support to ensure their success throughout the rest of their high school experience. Mechina applicants are exempt from the JSAT exam.
