Tuition Assistance

Considerations When Applying for Financial Assistance

The Frisch School is committed to providing tuition assistance to families, based upon documented need, as a supplement to family resources.

We encourage all parents to carefully evaluate their own ability to pay school costs and expect families to contribute to the educational cost of their child at the highest possible level given their economic situation.

This year we will be processing our tuition assistance applications through Yeshivah Aid, a web-based program that is currently being used by a number of yeshivas in the New York/New Jersey area. If you have children who attend any of these other yeshivas, you will only be required to fill out one application, which will be processed by each individual school.

All tuition assistance awards are based upon a family’s need as determined by the Scholarship Committee who evaluate applications, as well as all supplementary information.

A call or meeting with the Scholarship Committee is usually required only when there are issues/questions not addressed in the submitted application.

All tuition assistance information is kept in the strictest confidence.

An application for tuition assistance must be submitted every year a child is enrolled at Frisch. The amount a family can be expected to reasonably contribute to a child’s education will be reviewed annually. Required payment may increase, decrease or remain the same.

Completed applications for tuition assistance can be submitted after admissions decision letters are mailed in Feb. 2020.

Tuition and Fees for 2020-2021 will be established before Pesach.
