Frisch Faculty Makes Annual Summer Camp Visit
July 28, 2016
Five years ago, the Frisch faculty came up with a novel idea: Why don’t we visit our students at various sleepaway camps during the summer?
“Visiting summer camps is a unique opportunity for all of us at Frisch to continue our meaningful connections going with our students, even during the summer season and outside of the classroom,” said Rabbi Eli Ciner, principal. This year, over 15 faculty members went from camp to camp visiting their students, who were so excited to see their teachers pull up to the campgrounds in the Cougar mobile. Visiting students at summer camp has become an “industry standard” for many yeshiva high schools since we pioneered it five years ago.
“It’s a wonderful day that we all look forward to all summer, and I’m so happy to see our students thriving and looking forward to Frisch’s coming academic year,” continued Rabbi Ciner.
