This year saw Yeshivat Frisch’s best winter sports season to date, with seven out of eight winter sports teams making it to the championship game: boys varsity basketball, girls JV basketball, girls varsity basketball, boys JV hockey, boys varsity hockey, girls JV volleyball and girls varsity volleyball. Of these, the ice hockey, girls JV volleyball and girls varsity basketball walked away with a first-place trophy.
“There is tremendous school pride at Frisch, as well as great dedication on the part of the coaches and athletes that allow them to balance schoolwork and athletics and still be so competitive,” said Frisch Athletics Director Aron Coren.
