Mazal Tov to Elior Holzer ’16, David Kirsch ’16, Harry Ottensosser ’16 and Rabbi Sher for completing their learning of Masechet Horayot. Rabbi Sher and some of our newest alumni have been learning together since the seniors finished their official shiurim earlier in the year and before they head to Israel later this summer.
“Since they finished with their shiurim in early May and had a lot of free time, the boys approached me about learning with them,” said Rabbi Sher. “I suggested learning Horayot because it was a short Masechet that I knew we could finish in time. I’ve been really impressed with their commitment to the chavrusa and really enjoyed learning with them, and I’m even prouder that this learning experience came about thanks to their initiative.”
Elior and David will be attending Yeshivat HaKotel while Harry will be studying at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush). Kol hakavod to our students and to our faculty, who inspire such meaningful relationships to take root.
